Introduction

Jira Fundamentals gives you an introduction to one of the most widely used tools for project management and collaboration. The course is for those who are either new to Jira or want to build a better understanding of its features.

We cover topics such as projects, issues, boards and workflows. You will learn how to structure your work, find relevant information and report progress. The training is practical and there are opportunities to ask questions along the way.

The goal of the course is to equip you to use Jira to optimize work processes and strengthen collaboration in your team. We look forward to guiding you!

Participant profile

The course requires no prior experience with Jira or agile methods. Anyone can join and you do not need to have attended other courses beforehand.

Content

In the course, we will go through:

  • Introduction to Jira, projects and issues

  • Project boards.

  • Filling in issues.

  • Kanban.

  • Scrum.

  • Search.

  • Filter.

  • Epics.

  • Dashboards.

  • All in one context.

Virtual delivery

If the course is held virtually, you participate via your computer from home or from your workplace. The training is live and there is an opportunity to ask questions along the way.

Practical information:

    • Make sure you are logged in 5 minutes before the start.
    • Test sound and microphone before the course.
    • Breaks and lunch will be scheduled as in a physical course.
    • You will need a computer with camera, microphone and a stable internet connection. A headset with microphone is an advantage, but not necessary.

Physical delivery

The course is generally held at our office in Copenhagen, unless otherwise agreed.

Our office is located at Sjæleboderne 2.

Educators

The course is taught by experts from Aety, an authorized Atlassian Platinum Solution Partner. Our trainers have extensive experience with Atlassian products and help public and private organizations implement tools like Jira and Confluence on a daily basis.

Course material

The teaching is in Danish, while the course material from Atlassian is in English. At the start of the course, you will receive slides and exercises. After the course, you will receive an Atlassian certificate as proof of your participation.
