Aety Academy is a professional consulting community that offers a wide range of courses for IT professionals. The courses include material from Aety’s partnerships, combined with the teachers’ own experiences and professional insights.
Teaching takes place at customer sites, via online webinars and physical courses offered at the Danish Technological Institute. The academy has existed for 6 years and draws on the skills of experienced teachers who also act as consultants across aety’s business units.
A professional consulting community
Aety Academy is headed by Solution Consultant Nils Buch, who leads and coordinates the team’s activities. In addition to being a course provider, he is also responsible for supporting the team’s development and ensuring a constant professional quality in teaching.
The ambition for the team is to create an environment where ideas are encouraged and where the team actively adapts to good suggestions to strengthen collaboration. Every month, the team gathers to share personal experiences and develop the course format. Nils emphasizes the importance of these meetings, especially as the consultants are spread out on different customer assignments.
“I’m an advocate of democratic processes and knowledge sharing, so when people contribute ideas, I hope they feel they have a voice. When someone in the team presents good ideas or amendments, we often adapt to them.”
