Sorø Municipality is a municipality in Region Zealand after the Municipal Reform in 2007. It includes three welfare centers: 1) Children and Families, 2) Social, Health, Labor Market, and Citizen Service, 3) a Center for Technology, Environments, Operations, and a combined staff area.
Problem
Sorø Municipality faced the following challenge, which they wanted help to solve:
They needed an overall project management tool that could be used across the organization. It was crucial for them that the tool was user-friendly and could be used by employees with different technical skills.
Product and solution
Initially, monday.com was introduced as a pilot project in Sorø Municipality. Approx. 10 employees were involved in the project, two of whom were registered as super users.
The employees were trained in setting up their work processes and using the platform for project management. This reduced manual workflows and created a better overview of the processes. During the implementation, the municipality also realized that the platform could be used internally to handle tasks more efficiently.
Aety's approach
To support Sorø Municipality’s cross-organizational project management, one of our consultants trained the two super users in managing monday.com so that they could train the rest of the employees.
The project was initiated in the spring of 2023. In the first months, there were weekly meetings between our consultant and the municipality. Currently (autumn 2023), our consultant assists the municipality as needed.
Since the project has been a success, several administrative employees in the municipality want to use monday.com in the future.
Result
After the collaboration with aety, Sorø Municipality has achieved the following 3 main results:
