Conclusion
As seen from the above examples, significant deviations in the investment distributed among the various alternatives exist.
Based on the above, the following can be concluded:
- At 250 users, Atlassian Cloud will be the most advantageous in terms of price.
- At 500+ users, the investment becomes more comparable in terms of price
- Aety private cloud will almost always be associated with the largest investment. Therefore, this is only a relevant offer for public organizations or other organizations that cannot migrate to the cloud. Instead, they would like to let others handle the platform and have it offered as a service.
When comparing the investment between Data Center and Cloud, the following should be considered:
- Atlassian invests more in its cloud products
- Atlassian introduces several new functionalities to the cloud
- How much is it worth to be able to let others be responsible for the operation of your Jira and Confluence installation?
